One Word Brings Miracles

Obedience –the word obedience in its simplest form is compliance with an order, request, law or submission to another authority.

How important is this word to God? The word (obedience) is super important to God and the benefits are great if you walk in it. Salvation was freely given but Obedience is a choice. If
you choose to obey there are benefits. Read Psalms 103 and become familiar with your benefit packet.

Obedience is the key or the access code to open the vault which contains all the valuable promises of God. We get to have all of what God has in store for us by utilizing the key or the access code. Exodus 19:5 says, now therefore if you will obey my voice in truth and keep my covenant then you shall be my own peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all people for all the earth is mine. If that is not enough to stir you, read Isaiah 1:19-20, If ye be Willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land and Job 36:11 says, if they obey and serve Him, they will spend their days in prosperity and their years of pleasure. We receive great benefits from God when we utilize the access code of
“obedience”. When we are obedient to God and His commandments, He will allow the blessing to run up on us and overtake us. Deuteronomy 28:2

Disobedience vs Obedience
In 1 Samuel chapter 15, the bible speaks of how Saul thought he could substitute sacrifice or worship for obedience. Now, when you “act out” and oppose God’s Holy Word or ignore the voice of Holy Spirit you are walking in darkness and you are looking straight in the face of rebellion. Disobedience carries repercussions of its own and it is NEVER good. King Saul lost His kingdom because he made a conscious choice to disobey God. Disobedience always bring pain, sorrow and grief…Death… spiritual death and destructions is what disobedience produces. Vs 11 says, I regret making Saul king for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments. When we read verse 23, we see the consequence of Saul’s disobedience. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and
stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou has rejected the word of the Lord, He hath also rejected thee from being King. Wow, he lost his entire kingdom. Serious consequences for not obeying god’s commandment.

How about those who never made it to the promise land…read Hebrew 3:18 and to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who disobeyed… amp. Also read, Deut. 28:15. But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God being watchful to do all His commandments and his statutes which I command you this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you. If there is one scripture in the bible that tells you how God feels about disobedience that was it. No interpretation needed for Jeremiah 18:10, and if they do evil in my sight obeying not my voice then I will regret and reverse my decision concerning the good with which I said I would benefit them. The One Word that is vital to our relationship with God is obedience. If you love me keep my commandments. John 14:15. God is looking for people who love Him enough to obey Him instead of them doing their own thing. Obedience to God unlocks God’s container that holds all the heavenly blessings. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done
in earth as it is in heaven, Matthew 6:10. There is no lack, Sickness or disease in Heaven. You will only find righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit in heaven.

The mission statement of His Touch Recreation Training Center is: To obey and glorify God by helping believers love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul and might, bringing them into maturity and unity, that the world may believe God sent His Son, Jesus Christ.

What a great mission statement with the word obey leading the way. The teaching and preaching this month about the significance of being obedient unto God was profound. It has changed my trajectory of thought and have bought me into a place where I have grasped a deeper understanding of obedience unto God. And not to take obedience lightly.

Living an obedient live before God produces miracles… and “Miracles
Are Easy for God”!

He that hath my commandments and keepeth them he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father and I will love him and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21
